Nixtate comes from a heritage of respect for culture and integrity. Our menu is a reflection of these values, our lives and our stories.

Our flautas are hand rolled from house made tortillas and filled with quality ingredients sourced locally whenever possible. We prepare all items from scratch, start to finish and we know you will taste the effort that goes into each and every flauta.

Seana was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. After graduating from University and Culinary school, she embarked on a gastronomical career honing her skills at top restaurants on the West Coast and in Hawaii. Her dedication to food and wine led to completion of WSET Level 3 award in wines. Seana has added wine pairing to her arsenal of culinary skills and is currently pursuing the Italian WIne Scholar certification.

Ken was born in East Los Angeles and raised in San Gabriel, CA. He’s spent his life as an Engineer working all around the world. Now, as an experienced masa producer and Pop-Up entrepreneur, he is committed to bringing the best of his culture and food to Savannah.

Together, these two along with their dog Henri have made Savannah home. When they aren’t cooking, they can be found enjoying farmer’s markets, museums, and drinking wine.
